At RoadPeace North East we seek to provide support to victims of road crashes and their families, friends and communities. Serious and fatal road crashes are sudden and unnatural, leaving those affected not knowing where to turn to. RoadPeace North East is there to help those in the region.

As well as offering support RoadPeace North East seeks to promote road danger awareness and road safety through the provision of information and resources, presentations and community engagement.

Key links have been developed with the emergency services and other partners across the North East to ensure that we can work collaboratively to reduce serious and fatal road crashes. RoadPeace North East also is grateful for the support of Thompsons Solicitors who provide legal support and guidance to help victims of road crashes.

A further element of the work undertaken is campaigning for justice and ensuring that the criminal justice system recognises the impact of road crashes and supports victims.

RoadPeace North East is a regional branch of the national charity RoadPeace (charity number 1087192 and company number 4165519 (limited by guarantee)).

Our geographic boundaries span the whole of the North East of England, including Durham, Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Northumberland, Cumbria, Redcar, Hartlepool, Sunderland and Newcastle Upon Tyne.
